Data & accuracy
Redbird only shows information a family could act on, and always labels where it came from. Two labels appear across the site:
Confirmed by community
A verified representative of the community entered or confirmed this information in their Redbird dashboard. Where we have one, we show the most recent verification date.
Information collected by Redbird
Redbird gathered this from the community's own website, state licensing records or other publicly available sources. It is still useful, but it has not been confirmed by the community.
Unclaimed listings
A community that hasn't claimed its listing is still fully searchable and shows everything Redbird knows. Unclaimed listings are never hidden, buried or ranked lower.
Missing information
When something hasn't been reported, Redbird says so — "Pricing not currently reported", "Availability not currently reported", "Contact community to confirm". A blank is never treated as a "no". In particular, missing availability never means the community is full.
Confirm before you decide
Pricing, availability and care eligibility change frequently. Please confirm current pricing, current availability and care eligibility directly with the community.
Corrections
If you represent a community and something is wrong, claim your listing and update it directly — claiming is free. Families who spot an error can let us know through the same page, and Redbird will review it.
